This year the International Talkschool Meeting was held in the town of GROSUPLJE in Slovenia (near the capital city Ljubljana) from 18 - 22 May 2010. The Meeting, now in its 6th edition, is the final event that completes the annual activities carried out by the students of four Salentine Institutes: the I.C. Corigliano d’Otranto, led by the headmaster Luigi Martano, the I.C. Giannone, the I.P.P.S. Liside and the Primary School “G. Lombardo Radice” – Taviano, led by the headmaster Giuseppe Cassini, within the Talkschool Project. This project, designed and developed by the computer analyst Emiliano D’Amato and the architect Morena Scrascia, was originally conceived to allow pupils from Apulian schools (in particular the Salentine ones) to communicate through the use of the English language and the new technologies offered by the net, with students of the same age belonging to the network of the twinned schools, inside the portal www.talkschool.org, both in Europe and in the world.
